ARTIST STATEMENT
My creative practice stems from a constant and most of the time subconscious search for the unseen parts of myself. Sometimes something is already existing in my mind and just waiting to be captured. The latency of situations and connections fascinates me deeply, how they just have to be noticed to be captured and to then exist in my memory. In my practice I am drawn to nature, to its shapes and its forms. I try to change without changing, as nature does, in all its different forms, species and ecosystems; patterns always repeat. Revolving around nature as my subject allows me to understand how to constantly evolve and experiment in my visual research whilst maintaining my visual identity.
